Concerts! Wheeee!!

Can I just say, JASON MRAZ WAS AMAZING. I've never seen such a good singer as him. He perfected his pitch every single time, he was funny on stage, he made all of us laugh, he rhymes off the top of his head. This is charisma, talent and pure genius on stage. I'm completely awed. He was so good at SingFest, he was equally good at his solo concert. He's good everytime. I love good music!!!

Enough praises, I'm sure you know what I mean. Haha. I brought Angel along for the show. It was her first concert like that because all the ones she'd been to were classical concerts. ......... Zzzzzzzzz. Therefore, pardon if she looked more excited than me in the pics. Haha. Don't get me wrong, I was excited, just not as overjoyed as she was!

The power of Jason Mraz... A full-house concert!:

The little promotional fan on every seat:

With Angel:

Jason Mraz!!!!:

Pictures in-between the show, haha:

I recorded 4 videos for my YouTube, but I have 3 here first because YOUTUBE IS BEING A PAIN AS ALWAYS:

The Dynamo of Volition

One of my favourite songs, first on the setlist!

You And I Both

I'm Yours + Every Little Thing Is Gonna Be Alright

This gets funny after 4:45. Haha.

After the show, on the phone with Kenneth and then the dog-sitter:

By that 4th picture, I was fully ready to punch Angel because I was trying to deal with Cookie's matters with the dog-sitter and there Angel was, trying to snap candid pictures etc. It's really annoying, to be honest.

It rained heavily just as the concert ended, so Angel's boyfriend came and dropped us home. I went to collect Cookie the following day at Kenneth's. He knows how to respond to his name now, so Rachel, I'm sorry but I cannot change it to a more macho name! LoL. The other day we were bombarding Cookie with macho names like Jaws and Terror (and also Armani... o_O) all just because Rachel said, "Come on man, Crystal. Imagine when he's big and strong and you still go like heyyy Cookieee babyyyy helloooo." HAHAHA. Too late!

Brought Cookie to the pet farm and got some shopping done for him, and then brought him to the vet for his diarrhea and cough. The vet took ages. In the end all the shops were closed and I had to takeaway Burger King. Even so, by the time I could sit down to eat, everything had turned cold.

Attended the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus concert at Downtown East on Tuesday. Thanks Ross, for the invite! He forgot to put my name on the invite list though, so as I was waiting with Esther for him to come bring us in, who should I see on the guestlist but Denise! Haha. Haven't seen her in ages, boy!!!!:

She's grown. I think everyone has. =) Well it was great seeing her again, still as gorgeous as ever. Gonna meet her for coffee next week.

The last time at the Ting Tings' concert, they were selling Pure Blonde beer. That was blah. This time it was Victoria Bitter. I tried it and like it!:

Yes, it's the same jumpsuit I wore to Jason Mraz's concert! It's comfortable! It's from MDS Collections, so hop on over and take a look at their clothes. Me and Esther:

The show:

Wow, what lousy shots those are! I know, I suck at night photography and I hate it! I didn't know Red Jumpy was such a screamo band... Recorded one song:

Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Grim Goodbye

Ross allowed us to meet the band after. He got me and Esther to randomly pick 2 girls in the crowd to join the group of us. So we picked the hottest ones we could find, which still isn't all that hot. But whatever. I was like, "Hi girls. Do you wanna meet the band?" And they were like, "Erm... Yeah?" And I said, "Okay, come." And they got so excited, they squealed among themselves and Esther told me she saw one of the girl's hand trembling as she took her phone out of her pocket. Seriously? =.= Well, they didn't even bother asking our names or asking how come they were so lucky, they didn't even say thank you. These 2 girls were also captured on someone's Youtube:

How... ungrateful. The meet-and-greet was held in a room and people were just standing around even though there were tables and chairs. Esther and I with the lead singer, Ronnie Winter:

With Joey Westwood, the guitarist (and Duke Kitchens in the back):

I didn't know their names before, I just Googled. Haha. Esther took a poster for her friend and got Ronnie Winter to autograph it, which he gladly did. But then someone else wasn't so glad about it. We got reprimanded for taking the poster. That person said, "You're not allowed to take the posters." I said, "I'm out of it." because I didn't even want the poster. Esther said, "He autographed it for me so I thought I could take it." And that person said, "But those are our posters. You are not even supposed to be in here. These are for winners!" Wow, I surely didn't expect that. The whole time, she didn't even look at us while saying it. I could feel the familiar boiling of the blood and the way it rose up to my heart and then my face, but I just walked away. Honestly it has nothing to do with me because I really didn't want a teeny weeny poster, but the way that person reacted honestly, really pissed me off. All just because it's not the first time. Okay fine, so we weren't allowed to take the poster. But isn't there a less hostile way to tell us that? Yes there surely is and I'm sure Esther would have nicely put it back, but that person chose to use hostility to the maximum. I know someone would be reading this, but please don't judge me. I know you're in the middle and it's not easy, but I need to vent; can't take it no more. I was all prepared to be nice since Day One but I wasn't well-received for some unknown reason or another. Dark looks, bad vibes, apparent hostility. Usually my sixth sense is kinda accurate, so I KNOW it when someone gives me bad vibes. So on every occasion I get those bad vibes from her, you insist that I brush it off? I tried and I did. Now look what happened, and what's gonna happen next? This sucks.

Anyway, the poster that "wasn't for us":

Can't see the autographs clearly, but it's there. Shared a cab home with Esther since home was near for me. I hope the next concert I go to won't be this dampening at the last minute. Kaiser Chiefs! I love concerts, wheeee! Just not some people at them. Bye.
